Sebastian Barros is an award winning portrait and documentary photographer based out of London. His documentary work takes him around the world in search of stories, his motivation is to examine and convey the narratives and lives of the people he encounters on this journey in the most pure and honest way possible. One such journey found him drawn to the heart of the sprawling and chaotic metropolis that is Lagos, Nigeria - this beautiful and compelling project garnered him commendations in three separate categories at the 2017 Sony World Photography Awards. His inventiveness and proficiently with the camera along with his honed artistic dynamic and authentic approach lend an astonishingly epic quality to his images. The same passion and drive is evident in his sports photography, as he seeks to investigate the inner psyche of his subjects, expertly capturing breathtaking moments of motion that are spliced with raw emotion.
